What started as a small garage operation became one of Taylorville's longest-standing traditions — family owned and operated for nearly six decades by the Marsango and McDowell families. In 2014, we opened Angelo's Express as an extension of this restaurant for delivery, carryout and drive-thru.

“Angelo's had good reviews and I was hungry for Italian so my friend and I stopped by for dinner. Our server was Lindsay and she took great care of us. I ordered spaghetti with meat sauce and a salad with blue cheese dressing and it was wonderful. It came with bread and Lindsay brought us oil for dipping.. Great sauce! My friend had an Italian sandwich and it was toasted, and she said it was amazing. Her dinner came with fries and they were delicious and plentiful and hot all the way to the bottom. Great service, delicious food at a very reasonable prize. I'll definitely be back again..”
